2003. The Queen of Sheba’s Fan, copper, paper, leaf gold and leaf copper.
Photo: Dorte Krogh.
Work from exhibition at “Officinet” (the Office), the Danish Arts and Craftsmen’s exhibition hall in Bredgade, Copenhagen. The fan is inspired by the legend about the Queen of Sheba from the Old Testament, as interpreted by the Danish poet Sophus Clausen in the collection of poetry: “Djævlerier” (Devil’s Handiwork). |
